This is the fourth year I have photographed this gorgeous family for their holiday cards. Two years ago they agreed to join me outdoors in some massive rain and were such troopers. This year, there was a little slush on the ground, 40 degrees and we shot between rain showers. They put up with a lot with me and I love them for it! Thanks for being so wonderful! Thanks for being so much fun.

When I was pregnant with my son, almost 5 years ago now, I met a woman in my toddler-mommy class. We very quickly became friends. Sadly, she had to move out of state not long after. A few weeks before they moved though, I shot my very first session for her girls (then age 1 and almost 3). I have stayed friends with this family since the move 4 years ago and our friendship continues to go stronger. I am so blessed they came into my life.
This past weekend, I was beyond excited to fly to San Antonio, Texas to photograph her beautiful family once again! Christina lost her daddy just a few short weeks ago, so the theme of family means all the more right now. It is those ties that last a lifetime and mean so much that are so important. I consider Christina and her family part of my own family and for this I am grateful.

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this beautiful peanut. I think I found out the week her mommy got the great news that she was expecting her…so it has been a while! Mom and Dad waited to find out the gender and it was so exciting to find out and finally get to meet her this morning! I am so honored that I was able to photograph her!

I get so excited every time I get to photograph a newborn baby. Who doesn’t love getting to hold a baby? It is truly one of the best parts of my job. Harper’s family brought her over this morning and she is just beautiful! She has gorgeous blue eyes and a full head of lovely brown hair. I could have kept her all day (notice I do not want to be up with a newborn in the night!).

Katie and Nelson truly have a lifetime of memories and moments leading up to their wedding day last weekend. They have been together since they were in high school and they were surrounded by family and friends to show their love and commitment to each other! I feel so thankful that I was able to celebrate the day with them and capture these memories! Congratulations!
