Miss Allison turns 1 ~ {Snoqualmie-Issaquah Child Photographer}

It’s hard to believe that this sweet girl is turning one next weekend (on Easter). Today was our fifth session together and it has been such a pleasure to watch her grow and change so much over the past year. She’s been a bit shy with me the past few sessions but today she walked in and put her arms up to me. SO SWEET! She smiled lots and her personality really showed.

Happy Birthday, Allison!

It was cold but that didn’t stop her from LOVING running outside!

And now it’s time for the real fun….CAKE!!!

“Mom, I’ve had enough of this sugary frosting!”

a new little man…. | {Issaquah-Snoqualmie Family Photographer}

This is my fourth year photographing the Roberts Family. I have to say that their sessions are some of my favorites. I get to go to their house and play! How much fun is that?! I get to see them as they are, with their toys, rooms, snacks, whatever happens. I love it! The session this year was even more special and they just welcomed a new little guy to their family. He is just a doll and just barely younger than his brother was the first time I photographed him in February 2010.

Enjoy your sneak peek and thank you for another super fun session!

To die for lashes….

His laugh is so darn cute!!

and this one is just so sweet. Little man is named after his daddy (and grandpa)

Amazing, as always — totally captured our family. THANK YOU!! :)

Miss Allison ~ 9 months | Snoqualmie Baby Photographer

I first met Allison back in March for her newborn session. This was our fourth session and she’s changed so much! Her parents moved to Indiana a couple of months ago and they flew in this week for her session. I was so excited to see her walking–that’s right, walking quickly! She is quick and keeping her mom busy! Mom was worried we wouldn’t get any smiles, but little did she know that covering her head with a box would be hysterical to her! She was gasping for laughs. It was beyond adorable! She has such a beautiful smile!

Thanks for coming all the way back for your session! I hope you have a safe and easy trip home. Enjoy!

She does this when she’s sleepy. Isn’t it so cute?

Here’s where that hat box over the head came into play! LOVE!

{Goodbye, Gurins….} | Snoqualmie-Bothell Family Photographer

It’s a bittersweet and special session I was asked to shoot last week. When my first daughter was born, we lived in a neighborhood where there were 3 other girls born within 3 weeks. It was so neat to watch them grow up together. When we moved 5 years ago, it was with a heavy heart. Now a second family from the group is leaving to start a new journey in San Diego. We’re sad to see them go. Mom is super sad to be leaving the home they brought both of their babies home to. So, we decided to photograph the kids in the house to have an album to look back on. I have many more images, but here are just a few for you. We’ll miss you guys!

Love that you were able to preserve some memories for them in their home before they move. Great job!

What great storytelling, Julie! They will love the memories you captured for sure!

Forman Family | {Snoqualmie Family Photographer}

I love family sessions! I love seeing the interactions between everyone and the joy of them being together. Holiday season is always so much fun for me with so many families wanting photos for holiday cards.

Yesterday I was able to meet up with the Forman family for a quick mini-session. We were blessed with a sunny (but cold) morning. I’m so glad we could squeeze this in between our rainy days. I just love their great coordinating outfits too! Such a great family!
